When this moisture hits the warm lamp it evaporates, leaving the dust and other contaminants on the surface of the lamp, this is why you need to wipe your lamp with a damp cloth every week or so.
  • Salt lamps also emit negatively charged ions, which benefit our airways.

Storage

Store and use in a dry place.
Do not use in a damp, humid environment.
Place a tea towel underneath the lamp when not in use if you are concerned about the surface top.
If you notice the lamp is wet when not on, it is drawing moisture from the surrounding air. To remedy this either move the lamp to a dry area or leave the lamp on for longer periods of time.

Directions for Use

Open box and remove lamp and cable packet.

Remove clear plastic wrap from salt lamp.

Give it a wipe with a damp salt then dry.

Remove bubble wrap from bulb on the end of the cable (or screw bulb into end of cable).

Pinch metal or plastic spring inwards and insert bulb into salt lamp base.

Ensure it is inserted fully and the base is flush with the base of the lamp.

Place on a flat, suitable surface in a dry environment and switch on to enjoy.

Salt lamps will warm up as they are switched on, this is normal and protects the lamp from moisture.

Switch off when not in use and make sure to store in a dry place if not being used for any period of time.

Salt lamps do not like damp places and will draw moisture towards them, which can leave a pool of water at the base of the lamp. It’s best to place your lamp on a saucer or towel for the first few days to ensure it is happy in its new home.
